Matthew 22:37-39 “Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.”
At Life Church, we believe that, through God’s Word, Jesus teaches us that the two most
important things we can do as Christians are to love God and love our neighbors. Loving our neighbors means reaching out as a community of believers to those around us who need assistance and hope and sharing the good news of God’s love with them. However, making a difference goes beyond simply telling others about God’s love; it requires love in action. This means putting in the effort to build relationships, meeting people where they are, and participating in their journey to where God is leading them. By partnering with local ministries, missions, and organizations, we can significantly impact our city, and there’s a place for everyone who wants to get involved.
Some of the outreach activities include:
• Recovery House renovations
• The Good Shepherd “Second Helpings” community outreach
• First Fruits Meal Ministry for survivors of human trafficking
• Distributing Easter invitations along with free water bottles for the community and gift bags
for local businesses
